Investor onboarding
Short answer: Investor onboarding keeps your firm’s investor onboarding records — investors see only their own.
Investor onboarding keeps your firm’s investor onboarding records — investors see only their own.
- What’s recorded: Investor, Fund, Commitment, Investing as, Accreditation, Tax form, Tax ID (last 4 only), Mailing address, Distribution bank details (verified by phone before use), Signature (type full legal name), Signed on, KYC/AML
- Steps: Invited → In progress / Declined; In progress → Signed / Declined; Signed → Verified / In progress / Declined; Verified → Accepted / Declined. The database only allows these moves.
- Investor emails go out when a record reaches: Invited, Accepted.
- Investors can: Invited → In progress; In progress → Signed.
- Invite investors to subscribe — creates an onboarding record for each investor (everyone in a fund, or names you list) and emails them; they fill in their details, tax form and signature in their portal, you verify KYC, then Accept.
- Use + New to add one, click a row to open it, and Export CSV to download. Every change is in the Audit trail.
